For five days in May SpeedDream27 was put through its paces in Newport, Rhode Island. Skipper Cam Lewis and a number of different crew tested the boat in a variety of conditions.
The second week of sail trials was in Rhode Island. First Bristol and then Newport with a number of different sailors including some top laser and moth sailors. All agreed that the boat was amazing.
We took the mxNext to Marblehead, Massachusetts for the initial sail trials. The weather was good, light winds and the boat was a rocketship.
mxNext nearing completion. Boat has been baked, hull and deck joined. All it needs is some clear coat over the carbon and some pain to accentuate the lines.
mxNext, the next generation of the revolutionary mx-Ray is under construction. Here are a few images of the molds being made. Next comes the carbon. First boat ready in Spring 2013.
